Crusberg-Roseen Named to NCHC Academic All-Conference Team

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Junior defenseman Cole Crusberg-Roseen was honored as an NCHC Academic All-Conference selection, the league announced this afternoon.

The honor recognizes one upperclassman from each NCHC team with the highest cumulative GPA. Recipients must be at least a junior in school and have spent a full academic year at their
current institution (no first-year transfers).

Crusberg-Roseen carries a 3.88 GPA while majoring in marketing and minoring in business at Western Michigan. The junior blueliner is a three-time NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and a two-time AHCA All-American Scholar. Crusberg-Roseen also garnered CSC Academic All-District honors as a sophomore last season and is a member of WMU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) this year.

As a player, Crusberg-Roseen has missed the last couple of months due to injury. However, prior to going down, the New Hampshire native had produced seven assists and 18 blocked shots. He is also an assistant captain for the Brown and Gold.

Crusberg-Roseen and the Broncos begin postseason play this weekend against Colorado College at Lawson Arena. The two teams will meet in the NCHC Quarterfinals beginning on Friday at 7 PM. For tickets, visit WMUBroncos.com/Tickets.
