COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the 2024-25 season on Sunday at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational at Ohio State's Scarlet Course.
The Broncos combined to shoot a 966 after an opening round of 324, a second round of 321 and a final round of 321 to finish in 13th.
Junior
Megha Vallabhaneni paced the team with a 231 (+15). She opened with an 80 but rebounded with a 74, the lowest round by a Bronco on the weekend, in the second. She finished up with a 77 on Sunday and tied for 26th. Freshman
Lauren Lupinek was WMU's second finisher, shooting a 244 (+28), while
Bella Brooks finished just three strokes behind her. Ally Barth shot 249 (+33) and Macy Beason rounded out WMU's five with a 259 (+43).
Western Michigan now heads on the Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship, hosted by Ball State
