ON THE ROAD AGAIN

LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos are coming off of a three-game sweep at the hands of Georgia Tech last weekend. The Broncos had an early edge in Sunday's series finale, but the Yellow Jackets, who lead the nation in doubles and rank in the top-20 in the nation in numerous other offensive categories, saw their bats heat up in the middle innings to finish off the series.

SERIES HISTORY
Western Michigan and Lipscomb have met three times prior to Tuesday's encounter, with all three having occured since 2016. The most recent meetings came in 2019, with the two teams splitting a twin bill in Nashville.

SCOUTING THE BISONS
Lipscomb enters Tuesday's matchup at 3-8 after dropping two out of three in its home series against Villanova over the weekend. The Bisons were picked fourth in the Atlantic Sun Preseason Poll, and are led by Preseason All-Conference selection David Coppedge and his .326 batting average. Lipscomb's most recent NCAA Tournament appearance came in 2023 after it won the A-SUN Tournament title.

TANNER AT THE TOP
Through the first three weeks of the season, Tanner Mally has flourished in the leadoff spot for the Broncos. The sophomore has put together four multi-hit games and ranks among the MAC leaders in batting average (.455, 2nd) and on-base percentage (.561, 3rd). He paces Western Michigan in hits (15) and stolen bases (4), while he's tied for the team lead in runs scored (6).

LOOK AT MEE
Grady Mee had another good series at Georgia Tech, going 3-for-6 and adding four walks for a .700 on-base percentage. The junior also scored three runs to tie for the team lead and stole a base. Following the weekend, Mee is hitting .321 and his .457 on-base percentage is 18th in the MAC.

DYLAN'S DAMAGE
After setting a single-season school record by driving in a conference-leading 71 runs in 2024, Dylan Nevar is closing in on WMU's all-time program record. With 164 career RBIs, he is 10 away from tying former Bronco and Major Leaguer Matt Mieske's record of 174, amassed between 1987-90. Nevar is also knocking on the door of 200 career hits, as he enters the week with 194 career knocks.
