ALLENDALE, Mich. -- The throws group had some great results at the Mike Lints Alumni Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State, on Saturday afternoon. 

In the shot put, the Broncos had Tess Van Dyk, Bri'Yanna Robinson and Lane Hagens competing. Van Dyk finished third with a throw of 14.66 meters, while Robinson collected fourth with a mark of 14.51 meters. Hagens finished eighth with a throw of 13.41 meters. 

Then, in the weight throw, Robinson competed in the invite portion of the event. She finished with a mark of 16.86 meters. In the other weight throw event, Kennedy Hagens was able to finish fourth with a big PR throw of 16.39 meters. Thierry Campbell was also strong, finishing the meet with a top throw of 11.99 meters.
