Men's Tennis Wraps up Non-Conference Play at No. 14 Michigan on Friday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team heads down the road to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on No. 14 Michigan on Friday evening at 6 p.m. 

It's the final non-conference match for the Broncos (10-5), who open Mid-American Conference play hosting Buffalo on Friday, March 7 and Toledo on Sunday, March 9. The match against the Wolverines can be streamed live via PlaySight. 

The Broncos are on a four-match winning streak, beating Butler, Purdue Northwest, Eastern Illinois and Wayne State all last weekend. UM is the fourth Big Ten team WMU will have played this season. Western Michigan is currently 0-3 with a 6-1 loss to No. 23 Michigan State, a 4-3 loss at Wisconsin and a 6-1 loss at Purdue. 

Michigan enters Friday with a 5-6 record and has dropped its last two matches at No. 20 Illinois and at No. 3 Ohio State. All six losses for the Wolverines have come at the hands of programs ranked in the Top 25.
