HOLLAND, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Hope Racquet Sports Management Invitational at Hope College over the weekend.
DOUBLES
The Broncos picked up just one doubles win in the four rounds, with
Ashton Adesoro and Dimitry Moriarty earning a 7-6 (7-3) win over Northwestern's team of Owen Megargee and Jacob Golden.
SINGLES
Chen-Hui Ho led all Broncos with three singles wins on the weekend. He picked up his first win against Northwestern's Vincent Yang 2-6, 7-6 (7-1), 1-0 (10-8). His second came against Purdue's Nikola Jovic 6-2, 7-5. Ho finished off the weekend with a 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7) win over Golden.
Adesoro was the only other Bronco to earn a singles win, getting two on the weekend after defeating Megargee 6-2, 4-2, with Megargee retiring in the seventh game of the second set. He then went on to earn a win over Mitchell Sheldon from Michigan State, 2-6, 7-6 (7-1), 1-0 (10-5).
