KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team returns home this weekend for a pair of double-headers on Friday and Sunday at West Hills Athletic Club.
On Friday, WMU welcomes Butler at 9 a.m. and then Purdue Northwest at 6 p.m. On Sunday, Eastern Illinois comes to town for a 9:30 a.m. first serve and then the Broncos battle Wayne State at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The Broncos are looking to bounce back from a pair of road losses last weekend. WMU traveled to Purdue last Friday and fell to the Boilermakers, 6-1. On Sunday they went to Illinois State and dropped a 5-2 match to the Redbirds.
Despite the losses, WMU still swept the MAC Singles/Doubles Weekly Awards. Senior

Drew Evans were then named Doubles Team of the Week after going 2-0 at No. 2 against the Boilermakers and the RedBirds.
Western Michigan heads to the University of Michigan next Friday to close out its non-conference schedule with a match at 6 p.m. against the Wolverines. The Broncos open MAC play on Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m., hosting Buffalo.
