SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the San Diego State Classic on Tuesday.
The Broncos combined to shoot a final round of 319 for a 54-hole total of 942.
Junior
Megha Vallabhaneni was WMU's top finisher, shooting a final round of 80 for a 54-hole total of 230 and tying for 43rd place.
Bella Brooks and
Lauren Lupinek both ended up tied with scores of 236. Lupinek shot a final round of 81, while Brooks shot a 79.
Jenna Hayes closed things out with a 79, for 243. Freshman
Saanvi Venkatesh was the team's final finisher, shooting an 89 for a 248.
Western Michigan heads to its home away from home, Rio Verde, Ariz., for next week's 22nd annual Rio Verde Invitational at the Rio Verde Country Club, beginning on Friday, Feb. 21.
