The Warroad, Minn. native opened the series with a 21-save performance in a 7-2 victory. He made 10 saves in the second period to help push the game out of reach. The Los Angeles Kings draft pick followed that up with 27 saves in a 4-2 victory on Saturday night. Slukynsky is now up to 9-5-0 overall with a 2.81 GAA and .888 save percentage. He has 309 saves, one shutout and one assist this season.

The conference named Wisdom as the Forward of the Week after he notched three goals and an assist in a sweep of the Mavericks. This is the second NCHC weekly honor of his career.

Wisdom began the series with a two-goal night, scoring two of the team's last three goals to help WMU earn a 7-2 win. It was the first multi-goal game of the season for the Canadian winger. The Seattle Kraken draft pick followed that up with a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-2 victory. Wisdom scored in the first period to push Western Michigan in front 2-0 and assisted on the Brown and Gold's third-period goal to finish off a 4-2 victory.

He is on pace to have the best season of his career, sitting with 10 points on six goals and four assists in 14 games. He leads the team with a +7 rating and leads all forwards on the team with 10 blocked shots.

Slukynsky, Wisdom and the Broncos are off this week, but they will be back in action next weekend at home against Minnesota Duluth. The series is set for Dec. 5-6, with the opener scheduled for 7 PM at Lawson Arena. For tickets, visit WMUBroncos.com/Tickets.
