Broncos Check in at No. 4 in Nation

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Despite having an off week, Western Michigan didn't see much movement in the national polls, which were released this afternoon.

The Broncos remained at No. 4 in the USCHO poll, sitting behind just Michigan State, Boston College and Minnesota. In the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll, the Brown and Gold stayed at No. 5. WMU has been ranked in every poll since Oct. 11, 2021.

Joining Western Michigan in the national polls were Denver, Arizona State, North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Colorado College. Omaha was also receiving votes in both polls.

The Broncos will return to the ice this weekend at North Dakota. Puck drop for Friday's series opener at Ralph Engelstad Arena is set for 8 PM ET. Western Michigan is currently at the top of the NCHC standings with 19 points and a 6-1-1 conference record.
