Golf Heads to Ball State for the Brittany Kelly Classic

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team heads down to Ball State for the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic on Monday and Tuesday at The Players Club at Woodland Trails.

The Broncos will compete against the host Cardinals, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Green Bay, Indianapolis, Lindenwood, Ohio, UIC, Valparaiso and Western Illinois. The tournament is named in honor of former BSU golfer Brittany Kelly, who passed away in 2021.

The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and finish up with 18 on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available at www.GOLFSTAT.com.

Western Michigan is looking to continue its strong start to the 2024-25 season. The Broncos opened the season back on Sept. 1 at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, hosted by Central Michigan. WMU finished in fourth place, as did junior Megha Vallabhaneni. It was Vallabhaneni's third top-five finish in her career
