Cameron Rowe to Return for 2024-25 Season

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey program and head coach Pat Ferschweiler have announced the return of goaltender Cameron Rowe for the 2024-25 season.

Rowe has been fantastic for the Broncos since transferring in from Wisconsin back in 2022. In the Brown and Gold, he has produced a 43-30-2 record, five shutouts, 2.49 goals against average and .904 save percentage.

Over the course of his career, he has recorded 54 wins and seven shutouts while boasting a 2.61 goals against average and .904 save percentage. His 54 career victories are the second most among active goaltenders in NCAA Division I.

Rowe is an eight-time National Collegiate Hockey Conference Player of the Week and was the league's Goaltender of the Month in November of 2023. Nationally, he was part of the Richter Award Watch List last season.

The Wilmette, Ill. native has helped the Broncos reach new heights as a program. Over the last two seasons, WMU has won 44 total games and made a pair of trips to the NCAA Tournament. Furthermore, during his first season in Kalamazoo, Rowe spearheaded the team's best ever finish in NCHC play.

"I wanted to come back to Western for a fifth year because this team has unfinished business," Rowe said. "We're here for championships, and I want to be a part of that. Western has developed a winning culture, and I want to help continue that growth with all the young and new players coming in this season."
