Alissa Fish,
Jenna Hayes,
Natalie Samdal,
Megha Vallabhaneni, and
Kailey White have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team on Wednesday.
Fish, a graduate student, boasts a 3.88 GPA in Business Administration. The Clarklake, Mich., native wraps up her career at WMU as a four-time Academic All-MAC selection, earning the honors in 2023, 2022 and 2021.
As sophomores, Hayes, Vallabhaneni and White each earn the honors for the first time in their young careers. Hayes holds a 3.95 GPA in finance, while Vallabhaneni has a 3.90 in Sales & Business Marketing. White has 3.88 GPA in special education. Samdal earns the honors for her second and final time with the Broncos after transferring as a graduate from Davenport. Samdal has a 3.80 while earning her master's degree Finance.
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and any transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season only are considered.
