GROVE CITY, Ohio – Sophomore
Megha Vallabhaneni jumped up nine spots and sits tied for fifth heading into the final round of the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championship.
The Northville, Mich., native shot a 74, shaving off four strokes from her opening-round total, and sits tied with Northern Illinois' Emily Romancew and Ball State's Sarah Gallagher at 152 (+8). Vallabhaneni was even par on the back nine, including birdie on the par-four 15th hole. She leads the tournament with 24 pars through 36 holes.

Alissa Fish and sophomore
Jenna Hayes both sit tied for 19th at 159 (+19). Fish shot a 79, while Hayes finished her round with an 81. Freshmen
Isabella Brooks and Macy Beason sit with scores of 167 and 168 to round out WMU's five.
As a team, Western Michigan improved by one stroke from its first-round performance, shooting a 318 for a 36-hole total of 637 (+61). WMU sits tied with host Ohio and are just six strokes from fourth place.
Kent State leads the tournament with a 608 (+32), with Northern Illinois just two strokes behind.
The Broncos wrap up the MAC Championship on Tuesday.
