THAT MAKES TWO
Earlier this week, senior
Karin Hamilton was named MAC Singles Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's win over Buffalo and Northern Illinois. Hamilton won both of her matches at No. 2 in the wins, improving her record in MAC play to 4-0. It was the second time this season she has earned the honors and her first during MAC play.
It was also the third time the Broncos have earned the MAC Singles Player of the Week, with fellow senior
Valeriya Monko earning the other one.
SEPARATION
With WMU's wins over the Bulls and the Huskies, the Broncos earned some separation in the MAC standings. WMU's 4-2 record currently ties them with Ball State for second overall in the MAC. Eastern Michigan and Miami sit right behind the Broncos with records of 3-3. WMU has two games left against the Eagles, traveling to Ypsilanti next Friday before hosting the RedHawks on Sunday, April 21.
