KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team welcomes the best from the MAC for the 2025 MAC Fall Championship at West Hills Athletic Club on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday's action starts with doubles at 9 a.m., with the opening round finishing up before singles action starts at 1 p.m.Â
Saturday will feature the doubles quarterfinals beginning at 9 a.m., along with doubles consolation matches and then the doubles semifinals. The singles quarterfinals are slated to start at 1 p.m., followed by consolation matches.
Sunday opens with the singles semifinals at 10 a.m. followed after by the doubles championship and then the singles championship later in the afternoon.Â
The winners advance for a chance to head to the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Each team gets to field two singles players and two doubles teams. Western Michigan and interim head coach Stephen Payne will go with sophomore
Frida Weijerman and graduate student
Lola Glantz in singles.Â
Weijerman takes on Miami's Maria Louisa Oliveira in a play-in match, with the winner taking on Irmak Budak from Northern Illinois in the first round. Glantz has drawn Bowling Green's Sarah Shahbaz.
The Broncos are going with doubles teams of Weijerman and
Polina Khotko and Glantz and
Audrey Smitek. Weirejman and Khotko take on BGSU's Blair and Taylor, while Glantz and Smitek will take on Miami's Oliveira and Faulkner.Â
