CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Western Michigan women's team closed out the 2025 ITA Midwest Regional, hosted by the University of Illinois over the weekend.
SINGLES
Graduate student Lola Glantz was WMU's lone representative in the Singles Main Draw. Glantz opened the Round of 64 with a 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-0 win over Northern Illinois' Irmak Budak on Friday. In Saturday's Round of 32 she fell to Notre Dame's Bojana Pozder 1-6, 3-6.
DOUBLES
Two of the Broncos' four doubles teams earned wins in the first round on Friday. Sophomores Frida Weijerman and Marielou Baudouin earned an 8-3 win over Valparaiso's Andrea Delgado and Madi Rogers before falling in the second round to Northwestern's Mika Dagan Fruchman and Neena Feldman 7-5. Glantz and freshman Ayan Yaguchi picked up an 8-6 win against Bradley's Chia-En Hseih and Tzu-Ying Tseng, but fell to Michigan's Gabriella Vanessa Lindgren and Reese Miller, 8-1, in the second round.

Western Michigan is off until it hosts the Bronco Super Challenge beginning on Friday, Nov. 7 at West Hills Athletic Club. Admission is free.
