KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team and head coach
Stephen Payne have announced the signing of Mahika Khanna to a National Letter of Intent prior to the 2026-27 season.
Khanna, a native of Shajahanpur, India, achieved a U-18 rank of No. 4 in India. She was a finalist at the W15 ITF Doubles and reached a career-high ITF Junior Ranking of 551. Khanna also was a winner of three ITF J30 titles.
"We are very excited to add Mahika to our team this year," said Payne. "She has been a top-level junior player in India for many years and has pro experience. She will fit within our team culture incredibly well and has a bright future!"
