Broncos Land Seven on Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio --  The Mid-American Conference announced Monday afternoon the 2024 Women's Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 136 student-athletes were named to this year's squad, including seven from Western Michigan. 

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible for the award. 

The Broncos were represented by: Kennedy Hagens (Physician Assistant Prep), Lane Hagens (Psychology), Annalise James (Holism and Contemplative Health), Kayla Schiera (Exercise Science), Brooke Soper (Digital Media and Journalism), Tess Van Dyk (Biology) and Madison Zarembski (Pre-Elementary Education).
