KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Mid-American Conference has announced the 2025 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team, honoring 174 student-athletes for their outstanding achievements in both the classroom and competition.
Western Michigan had nine student-athletes on the list, including
Laurie-Ann Desormes (Pre-Marketing),
Lane Hagens (Psychology),
Mabinty Kebe (Youth and Community Development),
Anichka Malachi (Computer Science),
Larissa McGrath (Biomedical Sciences),
Bri'Yanna Robinson (Exercise Science),
Lauren Sancrant (Strategic Communications: Public Relations),
Tess Van Dyk (Exercise Science) and
Madison Zarembski (Elementary Education).Â
To earn Academic All-MAC honors, student-athletes must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's events during the season. The award highlights those who exemplify what it means to be a true student-athlete.
