OLDSMAR, Fla. – The Western Michigan golf team heads down to Oldsmar, Fla., for the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational at Ardea County Club on Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament will be 36 holes and the South Course at Ardea measures out to 6,297 yards, playing at a par 72. Live scoring will be available at

WMU will compete against the host Bulldogs, along with Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Farleigh Dickinson, Indiana State, IUPUI, Long Island, Monmouth, St. John's, UIC, Valparaiso and Western Illinois.
This is WMU's third tournament since resuming play in February. Most recently, the Broncos hosted the annual Rio Verde Invitational, taking 17th back on Feb. 23-25. WMU shot a 906, the fourth lowest it has shot this season in a 54-hole tournament, performing strong in a stacked field.
Western Michigan has a quick turnaround, heading to Kentucky for the Nevel Meade Collegiate, hosted by Cleveland State at Nevel Meade Golf Club March 18-19.
