KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team hosts Purdue Northwest on Friday at 1 p.m. at West Hills Athletic Club on Friday before heading on the road to take on Michigan State on Saturday.

WMU has taken care of business both at home and on the road. The team opened the Spring with a 7-0 sweep of Ferris State before three straight road matches. The Broncos dropped a match at Indiana, 2-5, but then went to Pittsburgh, Pa., and picked up two wins against Duquesne (4-0) and Saint Francis (4-1).
PNW, who competes at the NCAA Division II level, is 4-1 on the season. The Spartans are 2-2 and host Toledo on Friday prior to entertaining the Broncos on Saturday.
Western Michigan is back home next Friday, hosting Oakland at 11 a.m.
