Volleyball Adds Keely Culler to Class of 2025

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team and head coach Colleen Munson have announced the signing of outside hitter Keely Culler (Archbold, Ohio) to the program's class of 2025. Culler joins outside hitter Mia Jurkovic (Oswego, Ill.) and middle blocker Cassidy Pratley (East Leroy, Mich.) in WMU's 2025 class. All three are slated to suit up for the Brown and Gold beginning with the 2025 season.

Keely Culler • 5-10 • Outside Hitter • Archbold, Ohio • Archbold HS
Culler recently wrapped up her senior year at Archbold High School, where she was a three-time MVP. At Archbold she played for her mother, Debbie, who played volleyball collegiately at Youngstown State. Culler led the Blue Streaks in kills in each of her four seasons, helping the team to 20 or more wins three times and district semifinal appearances in her freshman and sophomore campaigns.

After earning All-NWOAL Second Team honors as a freshman, Culler improved to a First Team selection as a sophomore before earning back-to-back NWOAL Player of the Year awards her final two seasons. She collected an All-Ohio Honorable Mention as a sophomore and received All-District First Team and All-Ohio Second Team selections after leading Archbold in both kills and service aces during her junior campaign.

She saved her best year for last, pacing the team in both kills and aces once again and ranking in the top-5 in the state in hitting percentage to help the Blue Streaks to a 21-5 mark and an appearance in the regionals. In addition to picking up her second consecutive league Player of the Year award, Culler was also named District Player of the Year and to the All-Ohio First Team.

Academically, Culler is at the top of her class and boasts a 4.00 GPA. An Honor Roll student and Dean's List honoree throughout her high school career, she is also a member of the National Honor Society. Upon arriving at WMU, she plans to enter the Haworth College of Business.
