KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team wraps up its regular season home schedule this weekend as it welcomes Miami to town for a two-match series. Saturday is Senior Day for the Broncos, with six seniors slated to be honored following the contest.

HOME SWEET HOME
Western Michigan returns to Kalamazoo this weekend for its final home matches of the regular season against Miami. The Broncos are 8-2 at home in 2024 and have won 20 of their last 21 home contests against MAC opponents.
SALUTING THE SENIORS
Saturday is Senior Day, with the Broncos set to honor six seniors for their contributions to the program.

LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos picked up their seventh consecutive win on Tuesday evening as they swept Northern Illinois.
Logan Case notched her team-leading 11 double-double of the season (40 assists, 11 digs) to help Western Michigan hit .319 for the night.
Keona Salesman led the WMU attack with 15 kills, while
Julia Marr added 10 terminations.
MAKING HER CASE
Logan Case continues her pursuit of the conference's all-time record for career assists, and currently ranks second all-time with 6,117. The fifth-year setter is the NCAA's active leader in career assists and currently ranks second in NCAA Division I this season at 11.59 assists/set.
DIGGING IN DEFENSIVELY
Coming off of her third MAC Defensive Player of the Week award of the season,
Andelyn Simkins kept on rolling on Tuesday, leading Western Michigan with 16 digs in the win over NIU. For the season, the fifth-year libero is second in the league and 28th nationally at 4.84 digs/set.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
Miami heads to Kalamazoo on a five-match slide. As a team, the RedHawks rank as one of the top serving teams in the conference, owning an average of 1.73 aces/set, the second-highest mark in the MAC and 58th-best nationally. Individually, Gentry Warrick is third in the league in blocks/set with an average of 1.21.
SERIES HISTORY
Western Michigan owns a 40-27 all-time record against Miami. The Broncos have won five in a row in the series, including a pair of straight-set victories last year in Oxford.
