Golf Hosts WMU Bronco Fall Classic Monday and Tuesday at The Moors

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan golf team is set to host the WMU Bronco Fall Classic at The Moors Golf Club in Portage, Mich., on Monday and Tuesday.

Admission is free. The tournament will consist of two rounds on Monday and a final round on Tuesday. Both days begin at 9 a.m.

Pairings and live scoring are available here: https://scoreboard.clippd.com/tournaments/233343/scoring/participants

WMU welcomes Central Michigan, IU Indianapolis, Valparaiso, Cleveland State, Cal State Northridge, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois and Ohio. Student-athletes from Purdue and Notre Dame will also compete as individuals.

The WMU Bronco Fall Classic marks the first time that Western Michigan has hosted a fall tournament since the Kzoo Classic, back on Oct. 2-3, 2017 at The Moors. WMU did host the 2023 MAC Tournament Championship at Kalamazoo Country Club and hosts the annual Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz., every February.

Western Michigan has had a strong fall so far, finishing in the top five in all three tournaments. Individually, junior Megha Vallabhaneni has twice finished in the top 10 and sophomore Bella Brooks was the runner up at the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic.

WMU has just one more tournament left before its long break, competing at the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford, at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
