CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotte FC announced Thursday afternoon that the club signed Western Michigan graduate forward Dylan Sing to MLS Next Pro affiliate Crown Legacy FC via free agency. Charlotte FC did not disclose the financial details of the contract.

The forward from Berrien Center, Michigan recently concluded his graduate student year with the Brown and Gold with career highs in goals (15), assists (8), points (38), and game-winning goals (6) in a single campaign. This past year, Sing earned a plethora of accolades and honors including but not limited to: College Sports Communicators Academic-All America Team Member of the Year (first Bronco since midfielder Anthony Bowie to earn the prestigious honor), Missouri Valley Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year and MVC Forward & Player of the Year titles. Sing would additionally claim a United Soccer Coaches All-Region nod for his efforts on the field in 2023.

During his record-breaking year, Sing set one of his many records with consecutive games with a goal scored. This year, Sing would earn the crown of consecutive games with a goal scored after tallying a goal in eight straight games, which spanned from September 10, 2023 - October 11, 2023. Amidst his goal-scoring streak, Sing averaged 1.25 goals per contest.

Sing will leave Western Michigan ranked third in goals scored in a single season (15 goals), third in career goals (32), and third in career assists (22) for the Brown and Gold.

With Sing signing with Charlotte FC, the men's soccer team earned its second professional signing in a single off-season.
