KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team is set to host the annual WMU/Vredevelt Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Sorensen Courts.
The Broncos welcome Butler, DePaul and Youngstown State. Friday's action will begin at 9:30 a.m., with Saturday's start at the same time. Friday will feature doubles in the morning, followed by two rounds of singles. Saturday will finish of the doubles and the finals in the singles. Admission is free.
WMU opened its fall schedule last weekend at the River Forest Collegiate Invite, hosted by Northern Illinois. WMU's group of freshmen got their first taste of collegiate tennis, with

Matej Kajzer and
Dimitri Moriarty all picking up their first collegiate wins in singles and doubles.

Anton Arzhankin will head up to Milwaukee to compete in the Milwaukee Classic this weekend as well.
The Broncos are back in action Oct. 6-8 at the Notre Dame Invitational.
