YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Western Michigan golf team turned in the second-lowest single round in program history to rocket up the standings and finish in third place at the Brittany Kelly Classic, hosted by Ball State at The Players Club on Tuesday.

Sophomore Megha Vallabhaneni finished with her best round of the tournament, shooting a 72 to finish tied for 15th with a 227 (+11). Graduate student Alissa Fish was two strokes behind Vallabhaneni with a 299, while Macy Beeson finished the day with a 69. Sophomore Jenna Hayes had a 73. Sophomore Kailey white competed as an individual and finished with a 230.
