Men’s Soccer Climbs To 28th In Latest College Soccer News Poll

TALLAHASSEE, FL. -- College Soccer News released its top 30 poll for the week ending September 17, this morning. The Western Michigan University men's soccer team found themselves ranked 28th in week four's poll.

The Broncos climbed inside the top 30 in the College Soccer News rankings for the second time in 2023. Previously, WMU ranked 22nd this season in the preseason rankings on August 21. 

The Brown and Gold have been off to a hot start to begin the 2023 campaign, winning five of their first seven matches by an average of two goals in their victories. This past week, Western Michigan saw wins over Dayton (5-4), Detroit Mercy (5-0), and Bowling Green (1-0) en route to the team's first three-game win streak of the season. 

The men's soccer team will return to action tomorrow at 4:00 PM in a road matchup against Villanova. Live Stats and live stream information is available under the men's soccer schedule.
