CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan softball team landed nine student-athletes on the 2023 Academic Mid-American Conference Team, announced Wednesday afternoon by the conference office.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Of the 96 student-athletes that earned the honors, just six posted 4.0 GPA's, including WMU's
Taylor Wolfe (Criminal Justice).
