LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Western Michigan softball team has 16 student-athletes honored as Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athletes, while the team earned honors after posting a 3.62 GPA.

Bella Duncan, Ava Geyer, Tristen Head, Hannah Herman, Kendall Kotzmacher, Emily Lampela, Megan Malartsik, Analeez Niles, Rylee O'Brien, Parker Ostach, Hannah Potts, Kaylee Salyer, Haleigh Smith, Jordan Smith, Caitlin Tighe, and Emily Yacapraro all earned the All-American Scholar-Athlete honors. Of the 16 players, nine have previously earned Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete recognition. 

To earn the individual honors, a student-athlete had to post a 3.50 GPA or higher.
