KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Ahvon Mitchell and the throwing team are heading to Siena Heights to compete in the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational on Friday. 

The Broncos are fresh off of hosting the Jack Shaw Invitational and are getting ready to head into the final stretch of the regular season. The MAC Championships are fast approaching with the meet taking place May 11-13 at Akron. WMU had a pair of top-two finishes at the Indoor MAC Championships earlier this year. 

Western Michigan will see the likes of Detroit Mercy, Madonna, Cornerstone, Lake Superior State, Purdue Northwest and Alma, among others. The Broncos will compete in all of the throwing events, along with Mitchell taking part in the 100 and 400-meter hurdles.
