KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team heads on the road for Mid-American Conference matches at Ball State on Friday at 1 p.m. and at Toledo on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Broncos (6-6, 2-0 MAC) opened up conference play with a pair of home wins against Binghamton and Buffalo last weekend. WMU swept the Bearcats 7-0 and downed the bulls 5-2. Western Michigan is just 1-5 away from home this season and the weekend kicks off six-straight road matches.

The Cardinals (8-5, 0-1 MAC) opened MAC play last Saturday falling at home to Toledo, 4-3. BSU had  been on a five-match winning streak that included victories over Purdue and Xavier before falling against Nebraska out in California and against the Rockets.

Toledo (9-3, 1-0 MAC) has a perfect 5-0 record at home this season. The Rockets will host Northern Illinois on Friday before welcoming the Broncos on Sunday.

WMU continues its road swing through the MAC next Saturday at Northern Illinois.
