Broncos Remain in Top 10

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan dropped a pair of games this past weekend against No. 3 Denver, which caused the Broncos to fall a few spots in the latest national polls. WMU fell 5-2 on Feb. 24 and dropped the Feb. 25 contest, 3-1.

WMU fell to No. 8 in both the DCU/USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls. Harvard, St. Cloud State and Boston University were the three teams to leap over WMU this week. The NCHC is still well represented in the poll, with Denver sitting at No. 3, St. Cloud State at No. 6, WMU at No. 8 and Omaha at No. 14. North Dakota was receiving votes in both polls.

The Broncos end the regular season this weekend against Miami (OH). Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night, while Saturday's game will begin at 5 p.m. Both games can be viewed on NCHC.tv and heard on the Bronco Media Network.
