Men's Tennis Opens ITA Midwest Regionals With Thursday Qualifiers

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team opens action in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regionals at the University of Michigan on Thursday morning.

Senior Jackson Boone and freshmen Matej Kajzer and Ashton Adesoro are set to compete in the Singles Qualifying Draw. Senior Benjamin George and junior Anton Arzhankin qualified for the Singles Main Draw, which begins on Friday.

Boone will open against William Rassat from Youngstown State. Kajzer will play Blake Roegner of Marquette, while Adesoro has drawn Iker Gaztambide Arrastia from Northern Illinois. The trio will need to win twice to advance to the Main Draw.

The Broncos will also compete in the Doubles Draw, which begins on Friday.
