CLEVELAND – In conjunction with its TV partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network, the Mid-American Conference announced its national basketball television schedule for the 2023-24 season on Wednesday. The extensive package features coverage of MAC basketball contests that will be televised nationally on the following linear platforms -- ESPN2, ESPNU and CBS Sports Network.
The first wave of national television selections were also announced on Wednesday, with the remainder of ESPN and CBS Sports Network's picks being 21-day wildcard selections, with games on February 2, February 16, February 23, March 1 and March 8 to be announced by those networks 21 days in advance.
The MAC Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals will be available on ESPN+, the industry-leading sports streaming service. For the eighth consecutive year, the Men's MAC Tournament Semifinals will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, while the Championship Game is slated to air on ESPN2 on Saturday, March 16.
In addition to its national television package, all 12 MAC institutions will be participating in the league's school content production program with ESPN. Each institution will provide a minimum of 35 athletic events as part of the agreement. Those games will appear exclusively on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Games airing on an ESPN network will also be available on the ESPN App with TV Everywhere credentials.
