KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Start times have been announced for nine Western Michigan Football games for the 2022 season, with seven games slated for national television broadcasts.
The Broncos will open in East Lansing against Michigan State at 7 p.m. live on ESPN. WMU heads on the road to Ball State on Sept. 10 for a 2 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+ before its home-opener against Pitt on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU. Bronco fans will have to stay up late to watch WMU take on San Jose State on the road on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10:30 p.m. ET, carried on CBS Sports Network.
WMU hosts Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m. for its annual Homecoming Game with television coverage still to-be-determined. Western Michigan makes its Mid-Week #MACtion debut on Nov. 2 and Bowling Green, with a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Broncos host NIU on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPNU or CBSSN. The final mid-week game is the Battle for the Cannon at Central Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The times for the game could be 6, 7 or 8 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPNU or CBSSN.
Western Michigan closes out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 25 hosting Toledo at 12 p.m. on ESPNU or CBSSN.
