CARBONDALE, Ill. – Due to winter weather in the Carbondale, Ill., area, the scheduled games between Western Michigan and Southern Illinois for Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, have been postponed. The two teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader on Sunday, March 13, beginning at 12 pm.
 
The Broncos won the series opener between the two teams, 11-8, on Thursday night behind a sparkling pitching performance from Dane Armbrustmacher, a three-run, three-hit night from Connor Charping and three RBIs apiece from Jimmy Allen and Justin McIntyre.
