KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Mid-American Conference announced on Friday that the Western Michigan at Central Michigan men's basketball game originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 8, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3, at 7 pm in Mount Pleasant. The contest between the Broncos and the Chippewas had been slated to be made up on Jan. 20, but had to be postponed a second time in accordance with the MAC's health and safety protocols.
The rescheduled game is now part of a hectic stretch for WMU, which will see the Broncos play three games in five days. Western Michigan hosts Northern Illinois on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 7 pm, visits CMU on Thursday, Feb. 3, and then heads down to Athens, Ohio, on Saturday, Feb. 5, to face the Ohio Bobcats.
Next up for Western Michigan is a trip down to Muncie, Ind., on Saturday afternoon to take on Ball State. Tip is slated for 3:30 pm, and the game will be broadcast on
ESPN3 and the
Bronco Media Network.
