KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's soccer team was welcomes Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the WMU Soccer Complex. Admission is free.
The game also marks Kingdom Youth Soccer Day at the WMU Soccer Complex. Currently, there are 10 former Kingdom Youth players on the Broncos' roster.

SERIES HISTORY
The two programs are very familiar with each other, with the first meeting between the two teams dating back to 1988. The Broncos have taken strong control of the all-time series vs. Purdue Fort Wayne with a record of 15-3-4.
Since 2006, WMU has only been bested twice by PFW, while winning seven matchups and tying one. The most recent game was in 2016 and resulted in a 2-1 Bronco victory.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Purdue Fort Wayne rolls into Kalamazoo after a 2-0 loss to Oakland coming this past Saturday. The Mastodons were within striking distance for the majority of the match with a slim one goal deficit until the final 10 minutes, when OU increased their lead to 2-0.
Sophomore goalkeeper Erik Josson had two saves in the contest to go along with two team saves for PFW. Senior midfielder Alejandro Lopez lead the team in shots with three, including one on goal, while fellow midfielder and redshirt junior Michael Teller also added a shot on goal.
The Mastodons are led in overall scoring by redshirt junior forward Keith Larson, who, along with Lopez and redshirt sophomore midfielder Ali Nasser, have all recorded one goal for their team so far this season.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE BRONCOS
Western Michigan (2-2-1) comes into Wednesday's game off of three consecutive shutouts, which has not been done by a Bronco team since 2017. Most recently, WMU took on the Dayton Flyers, resulting in a 3-0 Bronco victory.
Junior midfielder Dylan Sing delivered a pair of goals on Friday, along with one goal from fellow junior midfielder Max Keenan and two assists from senior midfielder Caden Jackman. Junior goalkeeper Isaac Walker also had a clean sheet for the third consecutive game.
Senior forward Eric Conerty and freshman forward Roni Sylejmani both tallied an assist as well to help the team's cause.
ON THE HORIZON
Following Wednesday's contest, the Broncos will travel to Lexington, Ky., to take on the University of Kentucky at 4 p.m.
