Men’s Basketball Adds Guard Cameron Kimble

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball program and head coach Clayton Bates announced the signing of Cameron Kimble, a 6-foot-4 guard from Las Vegas, Nev., on Tuesday.

Kimble joins the Broncos after a stellar prep career at Clark High School where he scored 536 points, averaging 12.4 per game while shooting a career 44 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind the three-point line. The 6-4 guard also shot 78 percent from the free-throw line and averaged 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

"We are excited to welcome Cam to Kalamazoo and the Bronco Basketball Family," said Bates. "Cam is a long and versatile athlete that handles the ball well and is an outstanding perimeter shooter."

Kimble led Clark High School to the regional championship and a state championship game appearance in 2018-19. During the 2018-19 season Kimble earned Second Team All-Conference honors and was named Most Improved Player.

During the 2019-20 campaign Kimble earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the second straight season while also earning the team's Most Valuable Player award.
