CLEVELAND – Nine members of the Western Michigan track and field team have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team for the 2021 indoor season.

Courtney Allen (3.42, biomedical sciences), senior
Taylor Eaton (3.63 health and human services), sophomore
Annalise James (3.66, exercise science), senior
Rebecca McNamee (3.83, social work), junior
Kailyn Mince (3.79, earth sciences), junior
Madison Ochs (3.79, biomedical sciences), sophomore
Emma Pachay (3.47, nursing), senior
Charlotte Ramser (3.74, nursing) and sophomore
Ashley Shipps (3.73, elementary education) all earn the honors for the season.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
James, Pachay and Shipps earn the honors for the first time in their young careers. Allen, Eaton, McNamee, Mince, Ochs and Ramser are all repeat honors.
The Broncos head to Miami Ohio this weekend for the 2021 Outdoor MAC Championships, beginning on Friday.
