COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With the conclusion of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference regular season, Western Michigan will take on Minnesota-Duluth in the NCHC Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 13 at 8:37 p.m. in Grand Forks, N.D.
Saturday's game will be the final of the single-elimination NCHC Quarterfinals games. The game can be seen live on NCHC.tv and heard live on the Bronco Radio Network.
The teams split the season series at 2-2-0 with each sweeping their home series. Western Michigan is winners of five straight closing out the regular season, including its sweep of the Bulldogs.
WMU has a chance to advance to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff Semifinals, also being played at UND's Ralph Engelstad Arena, on Monday at 4:06 p.m. and 9:06 p.m. The Frozen Faceoff Championship game is set for Tuesday, March 16 at 8:36 p.m. All three Frozen Faceoff games will be live on CBS Sports Network.
