KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team returns to the WMU Soccer Complex on Sunday to host Toledo at 2 p.m.
The Broncos (2-1-1) look to rebound after suffering their first loss of the season on Thursday at Central Michigan, 2-0. Not only was it their first loss but it was the first time WMU had given up a goal all season long. Western Michigan had recorded seven straight halves of soccer and two overtime periods until CMU struck early in the second half of Thursday's game.
SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo is 0-4 on the season after falling on the road at Eastern Michigan, 3-2, on Thursday. Four different Rockets have scored goals this season but none have scored more than one. Redshirt Emma Boutorwick has started all four games between the sticks for UT, making 15 saves. The Toledo defense is allowing 2.23 goals per game so far this season.

Western Michigan has shown the ability to rebound under head coach
Sammy Boateng. In his first season the Broncos went 5-2-0 following a loss last season.
ON THE HORIZON
WMU wraps up the month of March heading to Eastern Michigan next Sunday for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Broncos return home on April 1 to host Northern Illinois on at 2 p.m.
