KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team will head to Madison, Wis. to play Wisconsin on Friday, Nov. 14 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The two teams will hit the field at 8 PM ET.
The Broncos earned their way into the tournament by beating Ball State and Bowling Green in last week's Mid-American Conference Tournament. The Brown and Gold shutout both opponents en route to a second consecutive MAC Tournament title. This marks WMU's fifth tournament appearance in program history.
WMU and Wisconsin have limited history, playing just four times before. The two programs last met in 2024, battling to a 1-1 draw in Madison.
Western Michigan enters the national tournament with a 16-3-1 overall record and 10-1-1 conference mark. The Broncos have won the MAC regular season title three straight years and have collected the most wins in a single season in program history.
