KALAMAZO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team heads back out on the road to continue Mid-American Conference play at Northern Illinois on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
The Broncos are currently on a 2-0 win streak after defeating Spring Arbor last Wednesday and West Virginia on Sunday.

EVERYONE'S EVEN
After the first full week of action in the MAC, all six teams are tied in the standings at 1-1-0.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
The Huskies (2-3-1, 1-1-0 MAC) are coming off an impressive 3-0 home win over then 15th-ranked Akron on Sunday. NIU is 2-0 at home this year and have not given up a goal.
Northern Illinois has been shutout three times this season but have averaged 2.5 goals per game thanks to a lopsided 10-0 win over Chicago State. Junior forward Nick Markanich leads the team with four goals this season, including the game-winner against the Zips. He is also tied with brother Anthony and Alex Welch for the team lead with two assists.
The Huskies are giving up 1.0 goals per game this season. Sophomore Martin Sanchez has started all six games in goal this season, making 11 total saves.
IT'S BEEN A WHILE
Sunday's win was the first over the Mountaineers at the WMU Soccer Complex since a 1-0 win in the opening round of the MAC Tournament back on Nov. 10, 2017.
