Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Friday's contest on a two-game win streak and an overall record of 4-11 and 3-7 in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos las played on Saturday, Feb. 6, coming away with a 67-65 victory over in-state rival Central Michigan.
Road Warriors
With a win on Friday, Western Michigan can win its third straight MAC road game, marking the first time that's happened since the 2016-17 campaign.
Lee Named MAC Player of the Week
Senior forward
Greg Lee was named MAC Player of the Week after averaging a double-double in two road wins at Bowling Green and at Central Michigan. Last week Lee averaged 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while shooting 62.5 percent from the field.

Over the past five games senior
Greg Lee has been dominant for WMU averaging 18.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Lee is also shooting a stellar 61.8 percent from the field.
Defense Travels
WMU is the only school in the MAC to rank in the top six in the conference in scoring defense, opponent field goal percentage, opponent three-point field goal percentage and opponent free-throw percentage.
Double Digit White
In 15 games this season sophomore guard B. Artis White has scored in double figures in 12 to lead the Broncos. White leads the team at 13.8 points per game.
Cardiac Broncos
Of the 15 games WMU has played this season, seven have been decided by single digits.
Big Wright
Sophomore center
Titus Wright is shooting 54.9 percent from the field this season, the third best mark in the MAC.
What's Ahead?
Following Friday night's contest the Broncos are back at home on Tuesday, Jan. 16 for its second match-up of the season with Kent State. It will be WMU's first home game since Jan. 23.
