Fort Worth, Texas  –  Western Michigan baseball junior outfielder Blake Dunn on Thursday was named to the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award Watch List, an award given annually to a collegiate baseball player based on performance at the plate, academics and personal integrity.

This year's watch list consists of 48 players representing 17 conference around the country. Dunn is the only player from the Mid-American Conference to be named to the watch list.

The winner of the BBCSA will be announced in June and honored at a gala in the fall at the Fort Worth Club. Fans can follow news about the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award presented by SR bates and it's Player of the Week honorees during the season at www.braganslugger.com.

Earlier this week, Dunn was named MAC Preseason Player of the Year by D1Baseball and coming into the 2021 campaign is ranked the 93^rd best college prospect by D1Baseball, the highest by any player from the MAC.

Prior to the 2020 season Dunn was also one of 55 players named to the preseason Golden Spikes Award Watch List, an award given annually to the top amateur baseball player in the country.

In just 15 games last season the junior outfielder recorded a .288 batting average and led Western Michigan in home runs (2), RBIs (17) and stolen bases (11). Dunn ranked 10^th in the NCAA in stolen bases and eighth in stolen bases per game (0.73).

During his Bronco career Dunn has posted a .338 batting average with 22 doubles, seven home runs and 64 RBIs. The Saugatuck, Mich., native heads into the 2021 season with 47 career stolen bases, the fourth most in school history.

Dunn and Western Michigan begin the 2021 season with a three-game series Feb. 26-28 in Manhattan, Kansas against the Wildcats of Kansas State.
