The Broncos open their campaign with three non-conference road series, beginning with a three-game set at Kentucky from Feb. 25-27. WMU heads to the state of Illinois for the next two weekends for a four-game series against SIUE (March 4-6) and three-game set with Southern Illinois (March 11-13).

Western Michigan returns to Kalamazoo for its first home series from March 18-20 as it opens up MAC play with a four-game series against Toledo. The Broncos are back at home the following weekend, March 25-27, to take on Ball State.

WMU hits the road for its next nine games, as it heads to Ypsilanti to face Eastern Michigan (April 1-3) and then travels to Akron (April 8-10). The Broncos conclude the road trip in East Lansing on April 13 with the first game of their home-and-home against Michigan State.

Western Michigan is back at home from April 15-17 as Miami comes to town. After a trip to Bowling Green (April 22-24), the Broncos round out the month back in Kalamazoo against Northern Illinois (April 29-May 1).

On May 3, the Broncos step outside of conference play with a road contest at Valparaiso. The following weekend, May 6-8, WMU travels north to face reigning league champion Central Michigan.

Western Michigan begins its final homestand on May 11 as Michigan State comes to Kalamazoo. That afternoon's contest against the Spartans will be Southwest Michigan Miracle League Day at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. The Broncos round out their home slate with a MAC series against Kent State (May 13-15) and another matchup with Valpo (May 17). WMU concludes its regular season from May 19-21 at Ohio.

The Mid-American Conference Tournament features the top-4 teams in the regular season standings, with the regular season champion to host the tournament from May 25-28.

The Broncos are coming off of a 23-win MAC campaign that saw them tie with Kent State for third in the conference standings. Among those returning for Western Michigan are senior catcher Connor Charping, an All-MAC First Team selection last spring, and junior infielder Jimmy Allen, who was selected to the All-MAC Defensive team in 2021.
