COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., -- Western Michigan hockey's Ethen Frank, Michael Joyaux and Brandon Bussi have all earned Bauer National College Hockey Conference weekly honors for their performances in the sweep of No. 2 St. Cloud State over the weekend.

For the second time this season, Frank has been named the Bauer NCHC Forward of the Week. Bussi earns the Bauer NCHC Goalie of the Week Award and Joyaux was named Bauer NCHC Defenseman of the Week, also for the second time this season.

Frank had an historic night in Friday's 6-2 win over SCSU, becoming the first Bronco to score four goals in a game since 2006. He also added an assist for a career-high five points. After assisting on the opening goal of the game he then scored three straight for the hat trick to give the Broncos a 4-0 lead early in the third period. He capped off his night with an empty-net goal. Although he did not register a point in Saturday's win, Frank had three shots on goal and hit the post.

Joyaux had three assists and a goal in WMU's sweep. On Friday he had a season-high three assists. He assisted on WMU's opening power play goal and the fourth and fifth goals of the game, while also recording three blocks and finishing +2. In Saturday's 4-0 win he netted WMU's second goal of the game and helped the PK go a perfect 3-for-3. The penalty kill finished 6-for-7 on the weekend against the nation's second-best power play.

Western Michigan is back on the road this week to take on St. Lawrence on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+ and can be heard live on the Bronco Media Network.
